The six episode limited series The Terror: Devil in Silver is based on Victor LaValle’s novel of the same name and follows Pepper (Dan Stevens), a blue collar moving man, who because of his bad tempter ends up committed to the New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital, an underfunded and deeply unsettling place where the staff, the patients, and the building itself all seem to conceal something terrible, perhaps even the Devil himself. He soon discovers that his only way out may be facing the entity that feeds on the suffering of the patients, but he may find out that the scariest demons of all are live inside of him.

Recently showrunner Christopher Cantwell and LaValle, who also serves as a showrunner, spoke with SciFi Vision about adapting the novel for television.
