The film, Love, Danielle, which is available starting today in North America on VOD platforms and DVD, is the first scripted feature to explore the reality of living with a BRCA gene mutation before being diagnosed with cancer. Based on the true story of Devin Sidell, who stars in the film as Danielle, the film shows some of the emotional issues and medical decisions that follows that discovery and the courage of facing it head-on.

Sidell, along with co-star Jaime King, who plays Danielle’s sister Amy, spoke with SciFi Vision recently about the moving yet uplifting film.
