The thriller Cross, which returned today to Prime Video, follows homicide detective and forensic pathologist Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge) who has proven to be able to get into the mind of killers to stop them. In season two, Cross returns trying to balance a new, high-stakes investigation with his personal life, including the fallout from his breakup with Elle Monteiro (Samantha Walkes). Drawn into a fresh case when billionaire mogul Lance Durand (Matthew Lillard) receives a death threat that links him to the murder of another billionaire, Cross teams up again with FBI agent Kayla Craig (Alona Tal) to protect him and track down the killer. Meanwhile, Detective John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa) faces his own struggles when a new case drags long-buried family secrets into the open, leading to a shocking revelation about his mother.
